About the Role
The Marketing Assistant role is ideal for someone beginning their marketing career and looking to learn in a fastâpaced, supportive environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Marketing Assistant who is ready to learn and contribute to a commercially focused team.
You will support Executing Marketers in delivering endâtoâend B2B campaigns across global events. This includes gaining handsâon experience across websites, email marketing, SEO, social content and lead flow, all supported by structured training that develops your skills quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and update event websites.
- Implement effective SEO practices to support campaign performance.
- Create accurate and complex registration flows for event signâups.
- Design and schedule weekly marketing emails.
- Produce social media and website banners.
- Support social media planning and content execution.
- Track and identify marketingâinfluenced revenue.
- Manage shared inboxes and lead flows effectively.
- Support outreach to media partners and associations.
- Assist the wider marketing team with adâhoc projects and requests.
Team Support & Development
- Support onboarding and training of new starters.
- Contribute ideas to improve team processes and workflows.
- Take ownership of group tasks and collaborate closely with the Marketing Assistant team.

Education & Experience
- A 2:1 degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent marketing qualification (e.g., CIM).
- Demonstrable experience, such as internships, placements, or partâtime roles.
- Nice to have (but not essential): Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce or Marketo; Executing social media plans; Knowledge of SEO; Design skills using tools like Canva or Photoshop.
