Leading Healthcare Public Affairs Agency in London. Hanson Search are working with an integrated communications agency built for the Networked Age. This is a world that is increasingly connected, complex and evolving. As a result, the agency leads the way in applying behavioural science to solve communications challenges. Its expertise spans multiple industries. Within healthcare, it has built a strong reputation for delivering impactful, policy-shaping campaigns.
Award-Winning Health Communications and Public Affairs Team. The agency’s Health team is one of the highest-performing practices in the industry. The team advocates for government policy change on critical health issues. It also helps shape the global environment for respiratory conditions. As a result, the agency works with leading global health brands, including AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk, Gilead and Takeda.
As the team continues to grow, Hanson Search is partnering with the agency to support the search for a Senior Account Manager to join the Health practice. In this role, the successful candidate will manage client programmes. They will also contribute to the development of strategic communications. Ultimately, the position will play a key role in delivering campaigns that drive meaningful change across the healthcare sector.
Senior Account Manager – Healthcare Public Affairs Role OverviewAs a Senior Account Manager, you will:
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing client servicing and profitability
- Understand clients’ business objectives and communications goals, ensuring effective programme delivery
- Create content, including thought leadership, media materials and blogs
- Pitch stories to journalists to maintain strong and consistent media visibility
- Develop and manage digital and social media calendars and assets, staying up to date with emerging trends
- Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to junior team members
- Contribute to new business preparation and pitching as the team grows
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in healthcare communications, either in an agency, consultancy or in-house environment
- A strong interest in the healthcare sector and media landscape
- The ability to influence across a range of communications channels
- Excellent organisational, time management and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
