The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 Β£ per year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist healthcare association working to raise awareness and promote understanding of the value of the sector. As a Policy and Public Affairs Officer, you will work closely with the Head of Public Affairs to develop policy and key strategic positions on relevant health issues, maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the workforce, providers and broader audiences across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor political and health sector activities and assess their impact on the public affairs strategy for the organisation.
  • Curate a database of key stakeholders and work with the Head of Public Affairs to develop and maintain key relationships.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop content, such as blogs, social media, and press releases to support the public affairs strategy.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in public affairs and/or policy development and implementation – ideally in healthcare.
  • Experience in stakeholder management or engagement.
  • At least one year’s experience in local or national government or healthcare public affairs.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Understanding of the UK health landscape.
