About This Interim Public Affairs Role
This is the kind of interim assignment that would suit a well‑connected professional with excellent influencing skills who is comfortable working directly with CEO & chair and engaging with government, regulator and industry alike. In this highly visible role, you’ll be instrumental in leading policy and stakeholder engagement programmes with plenty of opportunity to shape external voice by positioning the organisation at the heart of policy development & building influential relationships where it matters.
What You’ll Need as a Public Affairs Adviser
- Naturally, you’ll need demonstrable experience working in public affairs, policy or government relations with an analytical approach and a solid understanding of the UK’s political & legislative environment.
- You’ll be a confident and assured professional, comfortable working autonomously and with excellent communications skills you can modulate in a range of settings.
- Some exposure to financial services, credit sectors or adjacent areas would certainly be handy but isn’t essential.
- What certainly is essential is credibility and teamwork.
