Our client – an international, independently owned Corporate Affairs consultancy, that focuses on highly regulated globalised sectors, with offices in London, Dublin, Brussels, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Frankfurt – is looking for a Managing Director for its 14-strong London office.
The successful candidatewillhave a proven track record of leading UK based integrated public affairs and public relations team. You willalsohavestrong experience ofdesigningandmanagingintegrated campaignsandinternational mandates.
Their clients include some of the world\’s leading asset managers, insurance companies, major airline groups, industry associations, global food and agri-food companies and sustainable energy companies.
As UK MD, this person will lead the UK team, sit on the Global Senior Management Team and be responsible for designing and implementing forward thinking strategy that will continue to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company\’s UK consulting team and manage the overall P&L
- Execute wider company strategy and deliver sustainable growth
- Play an active role in leading on new business activity and develop strong new client relationships
- Act as an innovator to enhance the agency\’s global reputation and ensure continued organic growth both nationally and internationally
Key Requirements:
- At least 15 years\’ experience in public relations or corporate communications, ideally with the majority in a consultancy
- Proven record of providing strategic advice to business and trade organisations
- Demonstrated experience of designing and leading campaigns and an interest in insights – based strategy development.
- A strong network of clients across a breadth of disciplines
- Strong team player and critical thinker with experience innovating in an international environment
