A boutique strategic reputation consultancy is seeking a dynamic, creative, self-starting Senior Account Director to join its Central London team, delivering high-impact strategic counsel to an exciting and important range of clients spanning private office, corporate, life sciences, and litigation/crisis communications.

Please note this role requires 5 days/week in the office.

The Role:

  • Producing comprehensively thought-through and brilliantly written strategy documents for delivery and presentation to CEO-level clients
  • Generating creative ideas and content for campaigns and communications activations across all platforms
  • Developing trusted personal relationships with clients
  • Supporting the firm’s Founder and Managing Partner across all client work
  • Overseeing day-to-day account management, including workflow, deadlines and reporting processes
  • Line managing the research and freelance consultant team, including oversight of daily/weekly monitoring reports and processes
  • Identifying new business leads and supporting marketing activity

  • Excellent communicator, capable of taking the lead as both writer and adviser
  • Tier One media contacts
  • Entrepreneurial in approach to existing clients and new business prospects
  • Ambitious to develop their own career to the next level — and dedicated to supporting junior team members in developing theirs

Experience:

  • Proven track record in media, corporate communications and/or politics
  • Extensive direct client-facing work across a range of industries and sectors
  • Proven track record leading communications campaigns
  • Social and content creation experience
  • Good understanding of AI and its impact on reputation management
  • Strong history of successfully managing teams
