Hiring a Head of Communications in a High-Growth SaaS Business. Hanson Search is partnering with a fast-scaling SaaS company to hire a Head of Communications. This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning the company’s external narrative across media, PR, and thought leadership. The organisation operates in the B2B SaaS space, selling enterprise-grade cloud software and platform solutions. As the business scales, communications plays a strategic role in supporting go-to-market execution, executive visibility, product launches, and long-term brand positioning. The role sits at senior leadership level and works closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Investor Relations and the executive team.
External Communications and PR Leadership in SaaS
This role is responsible for building credibility, visibility and consistency across key audiences. Core areas of focus include:
- External communications and corporate PR strategy
- Media relations (tier-one business, tech, and trade press)
- Executive thought leadership and spokesperson positioning
- Messaging across SaaS, cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
