As part of our Financial Services PR recruitment London practice, we are supporting a dynamic, award-winning, integrated communications agency. They are seeking a stand-out, go-getting Account Manager or Senior Account Manager for their Financial Services team. This role sits within the agency's booming Financial Services team, supporting clients across fintech, banking, insurance, wealth management and sustainable finance.

Key Responsibilities – Financial Services Communications Account Manager

  • Lead day-to-day client activity and manage client programmes.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients, ensuring their communications align with business objectives.
  • Proactively seek and manage media opportunities for clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.
  • Develop and execute communications strategies, including corporate positioning, brand building, and reputation management.
  • Assist with new business preparation and pitching.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and digital initiatives to enhance client communications.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their development.

Required Experience – Financial Services PR & Corporate Communications

  • Experience working in a communications agency or in-house.
  • Proven track record of managing corporate communications, brand building, and reputation management.
  • Experience working with clients in sectors like fintech, wealth management, or digital assets/crypto (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong client relationship skills and an ability to manage multiple, high-profile clients.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adapt and lead in a forward-thinking, collaborative setting.
