Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic corporate communications and sustainability campaigns for leading FMCG clients.
- Shape compelling narratives that clearly communicate clients' commitments on sustainability, social impact, and broader corporate responsibility.
- Lead day-to-day client management, including direct interaction with senior stakeholders, providing trusted counsel and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Plan and execute proactive media engagement strategies, securing top-tier coverage and building strong relationships with key journalists across international corporate and sustainability media.
- Support clients with issues and crisis communications, including message development, rapid media response and executive spokesperson preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, creative campaigns that cut through complex information and resonate with multiple audiences.
- Contribute to measurement and reporting, transforming data and outcomes into actionable insights for clients.
- Act as a mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in corporate communications, ideally within an agency environment, with a track record working with FMCG clients.
- Demonstrated experience delivering sustainability and social impact communications programmes.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex issues into compelling stories and clear messaging.
- Proven media relations expertise, with established journalist contacts and a record of securing impactful coverage.
- Confident client manager and advisor, comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in issues and crisis management is highly desirable.
