We’ve partnered with an award-winning communications consultancy to find a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their highly successful healthcare team. From the world’s top pharmaceutical companies, to the leading names in med-tech, to public-sector bodies and everything in between, this is the opportunity to work with one of the most diverse sets of clients in the industry.

The Consultant/Senior Consultant will play a leading role in providing hands-on counsel and comms services to a broad range of clients tackling global healthcare challenges, helping to deliver original thinking and creative strategies to meet each client’s specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and relevant tactical advice to clients on developing and placing reactive and proactive news stories and comment to drive coverage in priority media outlets.
  • Plan concepts for and oversee delivery of press conferences and media events.
  • Provide reactive press office services, including drafting media statements.
  • Contribute creatively toward new business pitches, and identify new business or cross-selling opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record of experience working in a healthcare communications role, ideally within a consultancy or in-house team.
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare/pharmaceutical PR.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and develop junior staff.
