We are seeking a visionary Director of Entertainment to shape the next decade of storytelling, influence and growth for a globally recognised brand at the heart of modern food culture. In this senior leadership role, you will define how the brand evolves across digital platforms, television, publishing, FAST channels, podcasts and social media. As a result, the brand will continue to reach new audiences while unlocking sustainable commercial opportunities. You will lead the development of bold and culturally relevant entertainment. In addition, you will secure strategic partnerships and drive new revenue streams across emerging formats and distribution models. Working closely with senior leadership, creative teams and external partners, you will help ensure the brand remains a dynamic and influential force.
Key Responsibilities | Entertainment Strategy, Media Platforms and Content Development
- Develop and implement the long-term entertainment and platform strategy across digital, TV, publishing, podcasts, FAST channels and social platforms.
- Lead the creation of high-quality and commercially successful content. This will support both audience growth and revenue generation.
- Position digital as a key channel for content distribution. At the same time, maintain and grow existing revenue streams.
- Build and lead a high-performing entertainment team. The team will develop innovative content for streamers, digital platforms and international markets, particularly the US.
- Secure and manage strategic relationships with broadcasters, streaming platforms and major digital partners.
- Identify and negotiate partnerships and deals that expand reach. In turn, these partnerships will unlock new commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with the Director of Production to oversee all productions. This will ensure innovation, quality and delivery within budget and timelines.
- Monitor emerging formats, technologies and storytelling approaches. As a result, the business will remain at the forefront of content creation.
- Represent the brand externally at industry events, panels and media opportunities.
Director of Entertainment Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a senior entertainment, media or digital content leadership role.
- A strong track record of developing successful content across multiple platforms, including digital and broadcast.
- Commercially minded with experience delivering against ambitious revenue and audience growth targets.
- Experienced in building strategic partnerships with broadcasters, streamers and digital platforms.
- Deep understanding of audience behaviour, cultural trends and the evolving media landscape.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills. In addition, the ability to inspire teams and collaborate across organisations.
- A creative thinker who can combine storytelling, strategy and commercial impact.
