We’re currently recruiting teaching assistants to work on a full-time basis in schools across Bath and its surrounding areas, supporting children and young people with complex needs. The role will involve supporting students who have physical disabilities and is ideal for those with experience in care settings, particularly supporting individuals with disabilities, mobility needs, or behavioural challenges.
As a teaching assistant, you’ll be making a real difference to pupils’ learning, independence, and daily school life. You will be working in a range of settings, including:
- SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health) schools
- Mainstream schools with high-need or EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) pupils
- Schools that support pupils with complex physical and medical needs
Responsibilities in this teaching assistant role include:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in lessons and around the school
- Providing personal care and assistance with mobility
