Are you a musician, DJ, or band member with a passion for working with young people? We’re currently partnering with a wide range of schools across Bath and are looking for charismatic, proactive, and engaging teaching assistants from a music background who can work from the beginning of the next academic year (September 2025).
Whether you’re in between auditions or performances, this is a fantastic opportunity to use your musical talent and creativity in a school setting - helping children not only with their learning but also with their social-emotional development (SEL). We’ve found that teaching assistants with experience in music and performance often build quick, meaningful connections with students - sometimes through shared interests in music, rhythm, and expression.
You can work flexibly - from just one day a week to full-time, depending on your availability. School hours are generally 8:00am-4:00pm, and pay is weekly. If you’re a musician or performer looking for a rewarding role as a teaching assistant that fits around your creative career, get in touch - we’d love to hear from you!
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is both full-time and part-time and during school hours, term-time only.

- To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs.
- To support students with ASD to fulfil their academic potential.
- To support all pupils, and particularly those with ASD to play a full role in the life of the school, building their confidence and self-esteem.
Qualifications & attributes:
- A background in music (performance, production, DJing, etc.)
- Confidence and a warm, outgoing personality
- A desire to support young people in both academic and SEN areas
