About the Role
Territory Sales Manager – Concrete – Greenwich, London. As a key face of the business, you will own your territory, grow existing accounts, and unlock new opportunities, delivering value‑added solutions and influencing business success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned customer base.
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Deliver structured call cycles using face‑to‑face and digital channels (including video calls).
- Prepare quotes, tenders, and proposals to win and retain business.
- Upsell and cross‑sell value‑added products and services.
- Build long‑term commercial relationships with key customers.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure smooth product delivery.
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, forecasts, and budgets.
- Use market insight and data (including ABI) to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure all customer interactions and data are accurately recorded in CRM systems.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Review Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and drive continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Measures
- Revenue, sales volume and market share growth.
- RCO and PGM profitability across your portfolio.
- Query resolution and % revenue in query.
- Cash collection and outstanding balances.
- Customer engagement levels (digital & face‑to‑face).
- Complaint management and service excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development in Concrete (construction or building materials sector preferred).
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing accounts and winning new business.
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities effectively.
- Comfortable using digital tools and CRM systems.
- A proactive, results‑driven mindset with strong organisational skills.
