We're looking for a General Operative to join our team at Penmaenmawr Quarry, playing a vital role in the production and supply of essential construction materials across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a busy quarry environment, working with experienced colleagues and modern equipment while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing operation.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Operating and assisting with a range of equipment and facilities, including: Fixed Quarry Plant Mobile Plant (HME) Asphalt Plant Railhead Operations
  • Carrying out routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
  • Reporting faults, defects, and maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Loading, unloading, and handling materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site.
  • Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • Supporting colleagues across operational areas as required.
  • Contributing to a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within a quarry, asphalt, construction, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
