We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst for a London Market insurer for an initial 6mth FTC. The role would be for a ASAP start, hybrid working with a salary up to £80k.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role focused on the insurance sector, specifically with strong underwriting exposure.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with underwriting teams and familiarity with regulatory returns.

THE ROLE:

You will join an established team who focus on ensuring the Underwriting Team are able to facilitate their work with the operational support required. You will contribute to the enhancement & development of Underwriting MI, Data Quality Processes and Underwriting Controls while analysing, interpreting, reviewing and presenting data from various sources.

THE CANDIDATE'S REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience working in an Operations Analyst role within the insurance sector with a strong background focused on underwriting.
  • You will work well under pressure with minimal supervision, attention to detail, build and develop key stakeholder relationships.
  • Have exposure to CMR & MDC platforms, experience using Excel and PowerBI with some experience of Syndicate Underwriting MI, DQ processes & UW controls.
