A London insurer is looking for a DBA to support and maintain the organisation’s data infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, integrity, and security of all database and reporting systems.
Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Manage and maintain organisational databases to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimal performance.
- Database Security: Monitor and maintain database access, permissions, and security controls.
- Backup & Recovery: Ensure database backups are functioning correctly and perform ad‑hoc backups and restores as required.
- Database Deployments: Support database releases, including running deployment scripts and contributing to continuous improvement of deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, and familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud‑based data solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure.
