We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major insurance systems modernisation programme. You’ll act as the voice of the business, working closely with the Product Owner and delivery team to shape, refine and prioritise the backlog and ensure solutions deliver clear business outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Represent the business and Product Owner within an Agile delivery team
- Lead backlog definition, refinement and prioritisation in Azure DevOps
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and outcomes
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and regular backlog refinement sessions
- Support UAT planning and execution, working closely with the Test Lead
- Produce and deliver end-user training and process documentation
- Identify and escalate risks and issues as needed
What we’re looking for
- Strong Business Analysis experience in Agile / iterative delivery environments
- Proven experience on technology-led transformation or modernisation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
- Strong experience defining user stories, acceptance criteria and Definition of Done
- Ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive alignment across business and tech teams
Nice to have
- Insurance domain experience
- Azure DevOps (ADO) experience
- BPM/BPMN knowledge
- UAT and testing support experience
