We’re partnering with a global insurance technology organisation delivering transformation programmes across the insurance market. They are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong commercial lines domain knowledge to support the implementation and enhancement of core insurance platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, working closely with underwriting, operations, and IT teams to deliver solutions across policy administration, rating, and underwriting workflows. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team delivering insurance technology transformation projects, working closely with insurers to improve underwriting and operational capabilities. Responsibilities
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements for insurance platform implementations
- Capture agent and underwriter user journeys, including risk intake, pricing, and workflow processes
- Support the implementation of solutions across policy administration, rating, underwriting, claims, and reinsurance functionality
- Configure or support configuration of rating logic and business rules
- Produce high-quality functional, UI, and product documentation
- Support functional testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution during development cycles
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly translated into solutions
- Support UAT activities, demonstrations, and impact analysis for scope changes
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience within Commercial Lines/P&C Insurance
- Knowledge of mid-market commercial and SME underwriting processes
- Proven experience gathering requirements for underwriter and agent workflows
- Experience working across business and technical teams in insurance technology delivery
- Exposure to insurance software platforms or custom insurance system implementations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
