Key stage: Working pattern Part time: Monday to Friday 8.15am to 2.30pm, Tuesdays 8.15am to 3.45pm to incorporate CPD.

Contract type: Permanent

Pay scale: Grade D Points 6 to 8 (£25,989 to £26,824 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £18,204.86

What skills and experience we are looking for:

  • As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
  • You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
