We are working with a leading HNW wealth & investment management firm looking to add a newly qualified Investment Manager to its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has 1â4 years' experience (signed off) as an IM, ideally you will be looking for a great opportunity to hone your business development & investment skills within a very successful team.
The role
Youâll be the key point of contact for clients, focusing on relationship development and the day-to-day management of discretionary portfolios. Thereâs no requirement to conduct equity or fund research yourself â thatâs handled by a dedicated central research team â but youâll be involved in discussions around asset allocation and investment management as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate
- Experience managing HNW clients directly and guiding them through the full suitability process.
- Experience managing investments for HNW clients on a discretionary basis.
- Comfortable with client development and being keen to contribute to prospecting efforts â you wonât be expected to bring a book of clients but must be keen to build one with support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in building longâterm relationships.
- Level 6 or 7 qualified (CFA highly advantageous).
