Hanover is looking for an Intern to join the Corporate Communications and PR team. This is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to break into the world of PR and corporate communications and it will provide you with first-hand experience in an award-winning consultancy.
As an Intern you will provide support to colleagues across our Corporate PR team in monitoring and research for our existing public relations clients, support for media liaison, as well as administration and research support for new business activity. You will be immersed in teamwork supporting client accounts across food and drink, financial services and prominent consumer-facing brands.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in corporate communications, PR and UK media.
- Strong personal time management and organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle competing priorities effectively.
- Accuracy and close attention to detail.
- The enthusiasm to energetically engage with journalists to drive strong media coverage for clients.
- Good research capabilities.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
The internship is full time, Monday to Friday, for 12 weeks (with potential to extend) and paid at a competitive rate. The team is looking for someone available to start late March/early April. The internship will be aligned with our hybrid working policy, with three days spent at our Bankside offices.
