- Our client is a leading FTSE250 consultancy, who is looking to build out their Finance Transformation practice with a senior appointment.
- This initiative is part of the Group’s strategy to establish a new business arm – initially focused on the insurance consulting market, with scope to broaden into Financial Services.
- Their new practice will support clients across Actuarial, Finance Transformation, Data & Analytics, and Reporting. To date, the Actuarial and Data & Analytics capabilities have been built out, with acquisitions and industry-leading hires accelerating their path toward becoming a market-leading consultancy.

Role Objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive finance transformation strategies tailored to the needs of insurance clients
- Oversee the integration of finance systems (e.g. ERM, EPM, etc) and supporting data models into efficient finance processes integrity within client environments
- Develop solutions to achieve enhanced finance working day timetables and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Design and implement finance target operating models to enhance the overall cost efficiency and effectiveness of these functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of finance systems with other business processes
- Ensure finance systems compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Monitor project performance and report on progress, outcomes, and benefits realization
Core Competencies
- Finance Systems: In-depth knowledge of finance systems (e.g. accounting ledger, FP&A etc.) such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan etc. and their integration within insurance organizations
- Finance Processes: Expertise in finance processes and procedures, including financial reporting and compliance
- Timetables & Reporting: Familiarity with finance working day timetables and reporting requirements
- Data Integration: Strong experience in integrating finance systems with data models and ensuring data integrity
- Operating Models: Experience in designing and implementing finance target operating models
