Hanover Search has been exclusively mandated by a Dubai-based family office to hire an investment professional to evaluate, select and monitor private equity, real assets, and fund investments. The role involves identifying top-performing fund managers and co-investments, conducting due diligence and aligning opportunities with the firm’s portfolio strategy. Please note we are looking for individuals to relocate to Dubai for this role.

Identify and assess fund managers with expertise in private equity and real assets, including real estate, infrastructure, and other alternative investment strategies. Conduct comprehensive due diligence encompassing both qualitative and quantitative analysis of fund managers’ strategies — including financial modelling, performance evaluation, industry research, GP discussions, site visits, and alignment with organizational objectives. Support the evaluation of co-investment opportunities by developing financial models, analyzing transaction materials, and preparing detailed investment memoranda. Formulate clear investment theses and recommendations for presentation to the Investment Committee. Contribute to the execution and closing processes for new investments. Maintain and update a live pipeline of prospective investment opportunities.

Key Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree is highly advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CAIA are strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is an asset.
  • 4–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real assets, fund manager selection, or a similar investment-related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong writing and presentation capabilities, with a proven ability to prepare clear and compelling investment memos and reports for senior management and board audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple workstreams within a dynamic, fast-paced investment environment.
