About the Role: Hanover is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our Digital Policy team in Brussels. We are looking for someone with expertise in consumer policy, platform regulation, e-commerce, and online safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, providing timely, relevant advice informed by sector expertise and policy intelligence.
- Support public affairs and project management initiatives, including client analysis, tailored briefings, and participation in meetings.
- Guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
- Contribute to new business efforts through opportunity identification, marketing initiatives, and participation in proposals and pitches.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in public affairs, consultancy, in-house roles, trade associations, or EU institutions.
- Deep understanding of EU digital policy, with a focus on consumer policy, platform regulation, e-commerce, and online safety.
- Familiarity with telecoms and digital infrastructure related policy would be an asset.
- Strong grasp of EU, international, and national policy interactions and their business impact.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
