Reinsurance company seeking a capital modelling actuary, ideally with some knowledge of Igloo.
Alternatives such as ReMetrica and Tyche would work as well. The ideal level would be a nearly/newly qualified or Associate actuary (AIA) who sees the Associate qualification as their final level of exams.
The business is currently using Igloo Standard Formula, and the model has been partially built, so candidates need to be interested in continuining the build as well as doing model runs, parametrisation etc.
Reinsurance experience is not essential, and qualification is not essential either.
Candidates with coding skills are especially sought after. Longer term, the client is interested in having a bespoke capital model in Python.
