We are looking for an individual who can help students be successful in the classroom and help maintain safety and order during lunch and recess.

This position provides academic support to students under the direction of a teacher and performs a variety of clerical support functions.

The vacancy is school-year, part-time, 5.75 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

Pay range minimum is $14.06 per hour.

The starting rate is based on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

  • Must meet Highly Qualified Status with two years of post‑secondary education OR high school diploma/equivalent and satisfactory completion of the CAPE test, which can be taken after hire.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be cooperative, congenial, and service‑oriented
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
