About the Role: Would you like to contribute to a rewarding and engaging environment? Join our enthusiastic and professional team as we promote independent living, provide housing management and housing support to our valued residents at our Renfrewshire based developments. This role also requires sleepover shifts. You will be providing housing management services which enable older people to retain the role of tenant, to exercise choice and independence.
About You:
- Essential:
- A genuine passion for helping people.
- Able to demonstrate Hanover Scotland values in Inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
- Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognise their right to choose and independence.
- Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
- Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
- Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
- 1 year experience in care or housing setting.
- SVQ level 2 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and the Associations policies and procedures.
