Salary: £26,947 per annum during 6 month probation period, £28,366 upon successful completion of probation

About the Role

Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Support Worker at our Montgomery Court development in Paisley. Our Support Workers provide enhanced provision to support adults with varying needs including physically disabled, learning disabilities, older adults and vulnerable adults in their own homes to live as independently as they are able with a responsive service adapting to their housing support plans. This role will entail working weekends, public holidays as well as sleepovers so we are looking for the successful candidate to be flexible and able to support our rota patterns.

About You

  • Essential
    • A genuine passion for helping people.
    • Able to demonstrate Hanover values - inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
    • Ability to relate to people with empathy and recognise their right of choice and independence.
    • Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
    • Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
    • Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
  • Desirable
    • Experience in a care or housing setting.
    • SVQ level 2 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.
    • Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with regulatory and statutory codes and practices.
