Salary Range: £49,356 (Probation Rate) £51,953 per annum (upon successful completion of probation)

Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days

About the Role

Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance projects from inception to completion? Are you ready to take the lead in a fast‑paced environment where your expertise will have a real impact? As a Regional Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of maintenance projects all while ensuring excellent service, customer satisfaction and value for money. You’ll directly support Hanover’s Happy Customer Strategy and contribute to maintaining safe, welcoming, and high‑quality homes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed surveys and prepare stock condition reports in line with SHQS (Scottish Housing Quality Standard) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Repairs & Voids Team to support inspections and ensure timely remedial action.
  • Lead planned maintenance projects — from fire alarm upgrades to path replacements and internal decoration.
  • Manage project budgets, forecast future spend, and maintain financial accountability.
  • Investigate and resolve damp and mould issues with a proactive, solution‑focused approach.
  • Oversee the delivery of the grounds maintenance contract, ensuring high standards across all sites.
