Working Hours: Relief Cover

Remuneration: £13.45 - £14.16 per hour

Hanover are recruiting for a friendly and positive individual to join us as a Care Administration Assistant. The efforts of the Care Administration Assistant are truly appreciated as the team works to ensure our customers feel safe and secure at home, living full and independent lives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective and efficient clerical provision to staff and customers.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills whilst promoting the service.
  • Provide support whilst being discreet and sensitive to customers’ needs.
  • Ensure and monitor contract invoicing and payments within the service.
  • Interact with customers providing front-line, face-to-face support.
  • Work to set deadlines and parameters to maintain service KPI’s.
  • Plan and exercise conscious control of time spent on specific activities, to increase efficiency.

About You

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience working in a clerical role.
  • Demonstrable experience with relevant IT software packages.
  • Advanced IT skills, including the ability to use the Association’s intranet.
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Ability to use own initiative.

Desirable

  • Administrative qualification.
  • Awareness to working with a vulnerable group.
  • Awareness of rota-based software packages.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • A flexible working approach.
