About the Role
This casual post is offering various hours within our Developments within South Lanarkshire (Hamilton, East Kilbride, Larkhall and Carluke).
This post also involves working weekends and public holidays, so we are looking for the successful candidates to show flexibility, to support the needs of the people we support.
As the Cleaner for our developments, you will support:
- Cleaning of common areas i.e. offices, corridors, kitchens, lounge, communal employee spaces.
- Cleaning of development accommodation, bath, toilet and shower areas
- Sanitising of surfaces, furniture and office equipment as required by rota.
- Removal of waste and preparation of guest bedrooms.
- Working in accordance with infection prevention control, COSSHH, Health and Safety guidelines.
About You:
To join us, you need to:
- Have a genuine passion for helping people and supporting independent living.
- Have demonstrable experience of empathising with and caring for the elderly.
- Have a flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude.
- Be able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clear written presentation.
Desirable
- You’ll also need basic digital and ICT skills so that you can access e-learning programs as well as the company portal.
