Our client is a long established and highly successful privately owned group engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of worker safety and movement control products across the utilities, construction and civil building sectors. Recognised for both their manufacture and design expertise, they stand alone at levels in quality, business process and reputation. This sector leading reputation is carried further into Europe and the US. Sales are generated through both end-user channels and close distributor partnerships. New product development sits firmly at their core and can be offered to both one-off customers or across the wider product portfolio. Incremental levels of capital investment have established a modern and effective manufacturing facility allowing the site to comfortably absorb the future planned productivity increase.
The Role & Person: Huge growth opportunities exist across Europe, with a particular focus on the German and French markets. The Directors now wish to invite a senior business development executive of the highest calibre to the commercial team. You will craft and deliver profitable and sustainable revenue growth in partnership with the Sales & Marketing Director. With such market potential, we need a mind that knows how to prioritise where first to start and is able to separate the noise and chatter from dedicated customer interest and sales delivery.
It would be best if you possess both strategic and hands-on delivery qualities and deeply feel the hunger and drive to create real value across Europe. You will have an impressive and proven sales and business development background, be ideally degree educated or have exposure to key market sectors such as highways, utilities, and major construction and infrastructure companies. A sharp and agile mind, backed by dogged determination but balanced with patience will be required along with an evidenced track record of success from within a modern and forward-looking company operating as best in class. Success in this role will be recognised and the appointed individual can look forward to further career development when the time is right.
