We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Valeter to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of company and customer commercial vehicles. This role ensures vehicles are cleaned to a high standard, supporting road safety, brand image, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and valet commercial vehicles including vans, trucks, trailers, and specialist vehicles
- Carry out interior and exterior cleaning, including washing, polishing, vacuuming and sanitising
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
- Remove debris, mud, grease, and other residues from vehicle exteriors and interiors
- Clean cabs, dashboards, seats, windows and load areas
- Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and report any issues to management
- Ensure vehicles meet company and customer cleanliness standards before handover
- Maintain a clean and organised valet area
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Support the fleet and workshop team with general duties when required
Skills, experience and attributes required
- Previous vehicle valeting or cleaning experience (commercial vehicles preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work efficiently and pay close attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
