The purpose of this role is to provide safe, reliable, and professional coach transport services between Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Glasgow (Scotland). The Coach Driver will be responsible for ensuring passengers are transported comfortably and punctually while delivering a high standard of customer service and representing Hannon Coach in a professional manner at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Passenger Transport & Safety
    • Ensure the safe, punctual transportation of passengers between Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Glasgow (Scotland).
    • Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures.
    • Plan routes effectively, taking account of traffic and weather conditions to ensure a smooth journey.
    • Carry out basic vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience for all passengers.
    • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as required.
    • Respond to passenger queries or concerns in a courteous and helpful manner.
    • Ensure passenger comfort and safety throughout the journey.
  • Administration & Systems
    • Check passengers on board using the mobile app booking system.
    • Use own initiative to manage daily duties and resolve minor issues as they arise.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Up to date documents: CPC Card, Driver's License, Digi Card & Passport.
  • Access NI or equivalent for Scotland/UK.
  • Previous experience with coach driving.
