Location: Workington
Contract Type: Temporary Supply (ASAP – until Christmas)
Hours: Full time – 8.30 – 15.30
Pay: £100–£140 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay, dependent on experience)

Hannett Hale Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a great primary school in Workington to recruit a full-time Primary Teacher to work in a busy mixed KS1 class.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop reading, phonics, and literacy across the school
• Work with groups of pupils to build confidence and fluency in English
• Deliver engaging sessions that support early language development and comprehension
• Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent progress and a love of reading

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Recent experience teaching in a primary setting
• A strong understanding of phonics and literacy strategies
• A nurturing, creative approach
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
