Pastoral Support Teacher

Contract Type: Temporary Supply (ASAP start – until at least Christmas)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hannett Hale Recruitment is pleased to be working on behalf of a local Primary School to recruit a compassionate and proactive Pastoral Support Teacher. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ wellbeing and behaviour, both in and out of the classroom.

About the Role

This is a non-teaching position focused on supporting pupils’ emotional and behavioural needs across the school.

  • Work closely with the school’s leadership team, who will provide strong guidance and support
  • Assist class teachers and staff in managing non-academic issues, helping to create a calm and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide pastoral care and behaviour support to pupils throughout the school day
  • Act as a point of contact for pupils needing additional emotional or behavioural guidance
