Hannett Hale is recruiting on behalf of a charming and well regarded rural primary school in the outskirts of Carlisle. We seek an experienced and confident KS2 Teacher to support a small group of Year 6 pupils with SATS preparation. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, supportive school community set in a stunning countryside location.
About the Role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons for a mixed age KS2 class
- Confidently differentiating learning to meet the needs of multiple year groups
- Supporting Year 6 pupils in preparation for SATs — previous Year 6/SATs experience is essential
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider staff team to ensure continuity and progress
This is a part-time role starting ASAP until July, with the potential for further opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong experience teaching across KS2
- Proven experience supporting Year 6 pupils through SATs preparation
- Confident planning for mixed age classes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
