Hannett Hale is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a charming and well regarded rural primary school in Carlisle. We are seeking an experienced and confident KS1 Teacher to support a KS1 - Y1 Class. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, supportive school community set in a stunning countryside location.
About the Role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons for a mixed age KS1 class
- Confidently differentiating learning to meet the needs of multiple year groups
- Supporting Year 1 pupils
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider staff team to ensure continuity and progress
This is a full time role starting ASAP until July, with the potential for further opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong experience teaching across KS1
- Proven experience supporting Year 1
- Confident planning for mixed age classes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive daily rate: £110–£150, depending on experience
