- Booking valuations and arranging viewings

- Negotiating offers to secure the best possible outcome
- Instructing sales and supporting transactions through the early stages
You’ll be trusted to manage your workload, communicate professionally, and represent Hannells to a consistently high standard.

Previous estate agency experience is not essential. What matters most is attitude, professionalism, and work ethic. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- An understanding of the property buying and selling process
- A strong sense of customer service and professionalism
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Confidence speaking with people face-to-face and over the phone
- High personal standards and a team-first mindset
Skills can be taught. The right attitude and work ethic matter far more.
Why Join Hannells

- Family-run business with no corporate culture
- Supportive team environment with shared branch commission
- No internal competition or offer-poaching
- Established, market-leading local brand trading since 2003
- Real emphasis on service, not box-ticking KPIs
Our reviews consistently describe us as professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. That’s the standard we work to, and the type of person we’re looking to add to the team.
Working Hours
Working schedule: 5 days per week, every other Saturday, with a fixed day off during the week. 8:45am start with a morning team meeting, 5:30pm finish (4:00pm on Saturdays). We have six sales branches and a central lettings branch across Derby, all with nearby parking and local amenities.
