No corporate pressure. A role where you’re trusted to do things properly. Hannells is Derby’s top-selling, award-winning, family-run estate agency, and we’re looking for a Sales Progressor to join our experienced and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with estate agency, conveyancing or property-related experience who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving, and takes pride in seeing property sales successfully through to completion.

The Role

Based at our busy Chellaston branch on High Street, you’ll take ownership of a pipeline of agreed sales, managing them from instruction through to exchange and completion. You’ll work closely with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage advisers and other agents to keep transactions moving, resolve issues before they become problems and ensure clients remain informed throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively progressing property sales and managing chains
  • Liaising with solicitors, buyers, sellers, mortgage advisers and other agents
  • Providing regular, clear updates to clients
  • Chasing key milestones to achieve exchange and completion as efficiently as possible
  • Identifying and resolving issues that could delay a transaction
  • Delivering a professional, reassuring and proactive service throughout the moving journey

This is a busy and rewarding role where no two days are the same. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and the satisfaction of seeing sales successfully reach completion.

What We’re Looking For
