We’re working with an independent research agency specialising in MedTech to find an experienced Research Director. This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys owning projects end to end while working closely with both clients and colleagues. You’ll lead mixed‑method studies across product development, voice of customer and demand work. The role combines delivery, client engagement and people management. You’ll work within a collaborative, low‑hierarchy environment that values consistency, craft and shared problem‑solving.
Key responsibilities
- Leading start‑to‑finish qualitative and quantitative research projects
- Acting as the primary client contact, running calls and presenting findings
- Designing and overseeing screeners, discussion guides, surveys and reports, with hands‑on involvement
- Managing and developing junior team members through feedback and mentoring
- Collaborating closely with senior peers across teams in the UK and abroad
About you
- 5-7+ years’ market research experience in market research
- You have covered both quantitative and qualitative experience during your career
- Ideally, you'll have experience working in the MedTech space
- Confident across both qualitative and quantitative, with end‑to‑end project leadership experience
- Comfortable balancing detail‑oriented delivery with team and client oversight
