Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Beautician role based at Hannahs Beauty Bar & Laser Clinic in Preston. The Beautician will provide a variety of beauty services such as facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, brow and lash treatments, and basic skincare services, depending on qualifications and experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Consulting with clients to understand their needs
- Recommending appropriate treatments
- Delivering services in line with clinic protocols and hygiene standards
- Maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
- Managing appointment schedules
- Supporting front-of-house tasks such as greeting clients and handling basic inquiries
- Helping promote products and services
- Supporting client retention through excellent service
- Participating in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Relevant beauty therapy qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent) and up-to-date industry knowledge
- Demonstrated experience providing core beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and brow/lash services
- Strong client care skills, including professional communication, active listening, and the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele
- Commitment to hygiene, safety, and infection control, with meticulous attention to treatment room cleanliness and equipment care
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinic environment, manage time well, and follow appointment schedules without compromising service quality
- Comfort with recommending treatments and products in an ethical, client-focused manner to support client outcomes and clinic growth
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, including new treatment techniques, products, and potentially laser or advanced skincare, if applicable
- Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and supporting overall clinic operations
