HGV Class 2 Driver – Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Morning starts between 6:00am – 8:00am

Are you looking for a new, stable role in the transportation industry?

Hannah Foods Service is an established food distribution company, and we are expanding our Transport team with full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Drivers. You will be based at our custom‑built distribution centre in Skelmersdale, delivering fresh, ambient, and frozen products to our valued, long‑standing customers.

With regular, pre‑planned routes assigned each day of the week, delivering to our established customer base. This role offers consistency, work‑life balance, and the opportunity to build strong customer relationships.

What You will Be Doing?

• Delivering goods to multiple customers across assigned routes
• Conducting daily vehicle walk‑around checks and defect reporting
• Keeping vehicles clean and presentable in line with company standards
• Completing all delivery documentation accurately
• Reporting any accidents, damage, or customer issues according to procedures
• Handling cash payments when required
• Using sack trucks and handballing stock when necessary

Requirements

• Full HGV Class 2 License with a maximum of six points on your licence
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Good attendance and time‑keeping
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Experience in multi‑drop delivery or similar roles (desirable)
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations
• Excellent customer service and a professional attitude

Salary & Bonus

Base Salary: £32,658.83 per year

Discretionary Bonus: £125.00 per month

OTE: £34,158.33 per year
