HGV Class 1 Driver Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Hannah Foods Service, Skelmersdale (Custom-Built Distribution Centre)
OTE: £37,362.75 (£16.24 per hour)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Morning starts between 4:00am 8:00am
Contracted Hours: 44.25 paid hours/week (plus 45-minute unpaid break per day)

About the Role
Are you looking for a new, stable role in the transportation industry?
Hannah Foods is an established food distribution company, and we are expanding our Transport team with full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers. You will be based at our custom-built distribution centre in Skelmersdale, delivering fresh, ambient, and frozen products to our valued, long-standing customers.
With regular, pre-planned routes assigned each day of the week, delivering to our established customer base. This role offers consistency, work-life balance, and the opportunity to build strong customer relationships.

What You will Be Doing
- Delivering goods to multiple customers across assigned routes
- Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and defect reporting
- Keeping vehicles clean and presentable in line with company standards
- Completing all delivery documentation accurately
- Reporting any accidents, damage, or customer issues according to procedures
- Handling cash payments when required
- Delivering pallets to our established customer base using pallet trucks in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements
- Full HGV Class 1 Licence with a maximum of six points on your licence
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Good attendance and timekeeping
- Strong focus on safety and compliance
- Experience in multi-drop delivery or similar roles (desirable)
- Knowledge of Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations
- Excellent customer service and a professional attitude
- You may also be required to cover additional nights out on an as-and-when-required basis, also paid at £36.00 per night
