We are looking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Aspire SEND & Inclusion Manager to join our team at Hanley Castle High School. Working under the direction of the SENDCo, you will support the development and implementation of the school's Inclusion strategy and SEND policy. The role involves managing and coordinating the day‑to‑day operation of the Aspire provision, leading and supporting the Learning Support Assistant team to ensure high‑quality support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate provision for students with SEND, including contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Lead meetings with parents and professionals, and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to secure positive outcomes for students.
  • Evaluate SEND provision and interventions, support the professional development of staff, and promote an inclusive school environment.
  • Support the professional development of staff and help promote an inclusive school environment where all students are supported to achieve and thrive.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working with SEND students and a strong understanding of inclusive practice.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of Learning Support Assistants.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Strong relationship building with students, families and professionals.
