Your impact: We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our EMEA Employer Sales Team, showcasing Handshake as the premier solution for top brands to recruit emerging talent. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong book of business, including prospecting, cultivating, and closing new accounts, while helping Handshake achieve its growth targets. Your focus will be on maximizing revenue and driving brand awareness among hundreds of prospective clients across the UK and EMEA.
Your role:
- Build and manage a robust pipeline by proactively sourcing leads, engaging target accounts, and driving deals from prospecting through to closing.
- Generate scalable revenue and consistently achieve or exceed target quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop and nurture deep relationships with senior executives at the Director, VP, and C-suite levels to build long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate across Handshake teams, including Customer Success, Product, Insights, and Leadership, to grow and strengthen Employer Partnerships.
- Actively conduct and share valuable market research, offering industry-specific insights and trends that benefit both customers and internal teams.
- Craft compelling Business Value Narratives, incorporating qualitative and quantitative ROI models that resonate with decision-makers.
- Command, report, and accurately forecast sales performance, ensuring accountability from pipeline generation to deal closure and relationship expansion.
- Design tailored proposals and executive briefings for HR and business leaders at key target companies to address their unique challenges and objectives.
Your experience:
Required Experience:- Proven Sales Success: Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, particularly with large enterprises or FTSE 100 clients.
- Enterprise Sales Expertise: Experience in consultative sales, selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, or business leaders. Skilled in crafting ROI-driven value propositions and managing complex deals.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives (Director, VP, and C-suite).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven success working with internal teams (Customer Success, Insights, Leadership) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Market and Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging talent recruitment strategies.
- Sales Operations: Proficient in sales pipeline management, performance reporting, and forecasting.
- Customer Success and Growth: Experience driving customer adoption and managing upsell opportunities within enterprise accounts.
- 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Background in selling to FTSE 100 or large enterprises.
