The Role:

As a Senior Account Executive (EMEA) at Handshake, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to accelerate monetization and expand our footprint across Europe. Operating remotely from London, you will leverage your expertise in sales and marketplaces to build meaningful relationships and drive revenue growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our sales strategy and establish Handshake as a leader in the region.

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the EMEA region, achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with mid‑market and enterprise clients, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to position Handshake as a trusted partner.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and verticals, collaborating closely with the US team for global expansion opportunities.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing, ensuring a consultative approach that aligns with clients’ needs.
  • Contribute to the evolution of sales strategies, providing insights and feedback to refine our go‑to‑market approach and drive continuous improvement.

You Have:

  • 3‑8 years of experience in revenue‑facing roles within marketplaces, platforms, job boards, or B2B SaaS, with a preference for HR Tech.
  • Proven track record of selling products similar to LinkedIn, Indeed, or recruitment networks, with demonstrated success in start‑up or scale‑up environments.
  • Experience in selling to mid‑market and enterprise clients, showcasing internal progression and a builder mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with clarity and confidence in articulating value propositions and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Motivation to thrive in an evolving GTM environment, with a willingness to engage in outbound prospecting and iterate on sales processes.
