We are actively hiring for professional and experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our team at Silver Tree Care Home, situated in Nailsea, North Somerset.
We are looking to hire for full-time contracted hours of 36 hrs/week. Flexibility to work day or night as per rota is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting clients with all aspects of daily living.
- Supporting training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.
- Assisting clients in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional, and spiritual).
- Providing supervision and attention when needed, ensuring clients retain their comfort and dignity.
- Paying particular attention to assisting clients who have limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.
- Assisting in the delivery of care for clients who are dying or who have a progressive illness, including last offices.
- Completing, observing, and reviewing care planning needs for clients, and completing written daily records as instructed and in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Answering the nurse call system, giving assistance as required, and responding appropriately to the door and telephone.
