The Role
As a care assistant, you will be aiding residents aged 60+ with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and physical disability. Furthermore, you would need to assist clients with their immediate needs such as personal care, dressing, washing, light housekeeping, and also provide mobility and food assistance.
Required Criteria - Essential
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in the UK working as a care assistant
- Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
- Have the right to work in the UK and a National insurance number
- Have evidence of mandatory training certificates in date within the last 12 months (or willing to undergo training)
- Must have a clear Enhanced DBS that is in date
- Be able to provide 2 references; 1 professional
- Must have an up to date CV
- Able to work in a high demanding and fast-paced environment
